DBPR Form Guide for Florida Brokerages in 2026

March 26, 2026

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation publishes updated forms each year. For real estate brokerages, the most commonly used forms cover license applications and renewals, change of address or entity status, broker of record changes, and transaction escrow account registrations.

When a brokerage hires a new sales associate, the associate files for license transfer using the RE 11 form series. Brokers should confirm the transfer is complete before the associate begins conducting transactions. Practicing real estate before a license transfer is processed is a violation for both the associate and the brokerage.

Escrow account changes require notification to FREC within 30 days using the RE 13 form or the online equivalent. Keeping escrow account records current is one of the areas FREC audits during routine compliance reviews of Florida brokerages.
